AUDIENCE FEED BACK

This is an example of an audience feedback from the rough cut of our film. This is an audience feed back from about several people.

Example of font ideas.

This is an example of the program we are using to create the title for our film. The program is live type. The first font is in purple, we decide to use this as it is a catholic church colour (black and purple). The black is just a basic colour where we are thinking of adding other colours to it, for example ,the out line.

Daily Update

Today was our last day of filming, now we as a group have to edit and put in sound for the screening of the first draft.
today we filmed the main part of when the victim of the antagonist takes his oath.
It was difficult doing this as we could not film in an actual Church we had had to improvise using a small isolated room which was dark. To emphasise this scene we used night vision, low and high angle shots to show inferior an superiority and also pov shots and over the shoulder shots to show the link between the two characters

What we did today 14/03/2011

Our location for the confession room.
This is room that we have found for our confession room, it is an art dark room. it is perfect for use of lighting and there is alot of space for us to set up a confession room look alike. We also found some red lights which would be good for our mise en scene, this could help build more tension for setting.

what we did today 10/03/2011

Today we was unable to film as much shots as we wanted. I can say that we were distracted at some points. what affected our ability to complete our task, was that we did not plan exactly what we were going to film, we also got carried away and so, before we knew it, time was against us. furthermore as one of our location was in a church, it was difficult to film because they were other people that were in the church.

What we need to do.
  • what we need to do is plan exactly what we are going to before we head out filming.
  • Take advantage of our time.
  • focus more on what we are doing.
  • be more aware of our surroundings and be able to compromise.

First day of filming.

Today the group went out to film the first shot of the church. We found a church which fit the scene we had pictured. We zoomed out from the cross until we had a full establishing shot of the church.
Aaron filmed his first scene as Mark, tracking behind him walking towards the church. Then a point of view shot of him looking at the church. Then another tracking shot of Aaron walking into the church. Match on action of him opening the door inside the church. We are now in the process of editing.
